The Scientific Education and Research Foundation (SERF) hosted two bio-skills laboratory courses in March in the organization’s Rocky Mountain Education Center. Both courses were held in the center’s cadaver lab, where attendees gain hands-on experience while working with cadavers. The first lab course, which was held on March 4, was sponsored by DJO Global. The course featured teaching on total knee and total shoulder replacements.

The second course featured total ankle replacements and was held on March 31. The course was taught by the group’s chief resident. Dr. Eric Kuhlman, a podiatrist and foot and ankle surgeon, and Dr. Oscar Noel, a sports medicine specialist and orthopedic surgeon, of the Center for Spine and Orthopedics, also attended the program. Exac Tech Flex Ortho sponsored the course.
