Dr. Kelechi Eseonu began a two-week international spine fellowship on July 12 at the Center of Spine and Orthopedics (CSO). He will be training under Michael Janssen, DO, spine surgeon and CSO founder. Originally from London, Dr. Eseonu specializes in spinal surgery. He currently works at St. Michael’s Hospital in Toronto, Ontario, in Canada.
Dr. Eseonu complete his medical degree and a residency at the University of Edinburgh in England. He also completed a residency at a London university. Previously, he completed two master’s degrees, one in musculoskeletal sciences from the University of Oxford and another in health economics management from the London School of Economics.
In his spare time, Dr. Eseonu enjoys rugby and soccer and is learning more about ice hockey. His final day at CSO will be July 23.
