The Center for Spine and Orthopedics (CSO) is pleased to welcome our newest orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Oscar Noel IV. Dr. Noel will join CSO’s Sports Medicine and Orthopedic Team on Tuesday, September 3. His specialties include sports medicine; arthroscopic surgery; joint replacement of the knee, hip and shoulder; general orthopedics; and orthopedic trauma care.
Originally from Colorado, Dr. Noel completed medical school and an anatomy fellowship at Rocky Vista University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Parker, CO. He then completed his orthopedic surgery internship and residency at Des Peres Hospital in St. Louis, MO, and an orthopedic sports medicine fellowship at the Cincinnati Sports Medicine and Orthopedic Center/Mercy Health in Cincinnati.
While in St. Louis, he researched orthopedic materials and implants under Dr. Leo Whiteside, a world-renowned joint replacement surgeon.
Dr. Noel takes great pride in caring for his patients. His Christian faith is an integral part of his life and practice philosophy: to always do what is right for the patient.
As a Colorado native, Dr. Noel is delighted to be back in his home state with his wife and their new daughter. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends, skiing, golfing, playing tennis, hunting, fishing, and hiking.
