This week, the Center for Spine and Orthopedics (CSO) announced Karrie Martinez, Scheduling/Medical Records Team Leader, as the practice’s Associate of the Month. Karrie joined the practice and department in November 2014. She was promoted to team leader in 2017. CSO physicians and staff voted to honor Karrie for this recognition after one of her co-workers nominated her, writing:

“I would like to nominate Karrie Martinez. She is never grumpy when I tell her I would like a call to go to my voice mail. She is an excellent huntress when it comes to tracking people down for urgent calls. Karrie is very thorough, professional, reliable and always SUPER HELPFUL! She is a great asset to our team and truly goes above and beyond. Due to her many years of healthcare experience and knowledge, Karrie provides exceptional assistance to our patients.”

Another co-worker referred to Karrie as CSO’s “Phone Room Wonder Woman.”

Karrie, a dog lover, has two small dogs that she loves spending time with.
