Dr. Jacob Rumley Presents Continuing Medical Education Lecture on “Tandem Stenosis” to Healthcare ProvidersOrthopedic spine surgeon Jacob Rumley, DO, presented a lecture on “Tandem Stenosis” during the Center for Spine and Orthopedics (CSO) most recent virtual Continuing Medical Education (CME) lecture on June 9.

More than 80 physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, chiropractors and physical therapists logged on to Zoom to listen to Dr. Rumley’s lecture. “Thank you to the entire CSO group for these presentations!” said Heather Gray, PA-C, Rocky Mountain Primary Care. “They are both informative and fun, and I love the interactive opportunity to learn from the Q & A. The bonus of the wine and beer tasting is great!!” Prior to the start of each CME lecture, healthcare providers have the opportunity to taste beer and wine samples provided by CSO. A sommelier leads the tasting.

The lecture on “Tandem Stenosis” was CSO’s fourth virtual CME event this year in the practice’s 2021 Spine and Orthopedic Educational Lecture Series for healthcare providers. Participants receive 1 CME credit for each hour they participate. Providers who are not available on the evening of the lecture may receive a Zoom download of the lecture and still earn one CME credit.

The next virtual CME lecture on September 15 will feature Eric Kuhlman, DPM. Dr. Kuhlman will speak on foot and ankle conditions and treatment.

Education is a key part of the Center for Spine and Orthopedics’ mission. In addition to CME education for healthcare providers, physicians at the Center for Spine and Orthopedics also offer lectures for the general public on various spine and orthopedics conditions and treatments, including non-operative care.
