Orthopedic Surgeon/Spine Fellow
The Center for Spine and Orthopedics welcomes Christine DiPompeo, MD. Dr. DiPompeo, an orthopedic surgeon, will complete a year-long spine fellowship under the supervision of Dr. Michael Janssen and Dr. Jacob Rumley from August 2, 2021-July 2022.
Dr. DiPompeo completed an orthopedic surgery residency at Southern Illinois University in Springfield, IL, after earning her medical medicine degree at the University of Chicago in Chicago, IL. She specializes in general orthopedics, sports medicine, orthopedic trauma care, and research.
Prior to medical school, Dr. DiPompeo earned a master’s of science degree in health management systems and a pre-medical post-baccalaureate certificate at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA. Previously, she earned a bachelor of arts degree in English literature and science in human culture at Northwestern University in Evanston, IL.
Dr. DiPompeo hails from Chicago. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, son and 2 dogs, hiking, and is an avid baseball fan.
