Dr. Paul S. Leo is board-certified in anesthesiology and pain management. He applies a multi-disciplinary approach to pain management, which may combine therapies, medications and interventional procedures. Dr. Leo has performed thousands of procedures, including implantation of spinal cord stimulators and intrathecal pain pumps; radiofrequency and cryotherapy ablations; cervical and lumbar spinal injections (such as epidural steroids and facets); joint injections; trigger points; and dry needling. “Pain affects people differently, and my goal is to find the best solution to each person’s problem,” says Dr. Leo.

Dr. Leo earned his medical degree at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in New York City. He went on to perform an anesthesia residency at New York City-based Mount Sinai School of Medicine, where he also completed a pain management fellowship. He has practiced in multiple settings, from Level 1 trauma centers to community-based pain clinics.
