The Center for Spine and Orthopedics Welcomes Newest Physician Katherine Weisenborn, PA-CThe Center for Spine and Orthopedics is pleased to welcome our newest physician assistant Katherine Weisenborn, PA-C!

Kate specializes in history and physical exams, surgical assistance, patient/family member education (pre- and post-surgery). She is licensed as a Certified Physician Assistant from DORA, Colorado and the New Mexico Board of Medicine.

Previously, Kate completed a Physician Assistant Post Grad Internship at All Valley Women’s Care in Aspen, CO. She has a Master of Science Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Midwestern University and a General Surgery Master’s Practicum in Taos Surgical Specialties from Holy Cross Hospital. She completed a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology/Cell Physiology from the University of Denver, and has trained extensively in Indigenous Populations Culture Study with a focus on New Zealand Marine Biology and Plant Ecology.

Kate’s certifications include DEA Controlled Substance Registration Certification, Basic Life Support, and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support. Additionally, she is involved in the organization called American Academy of Physician Assistants. 

During Kate’s spare time she loves to do anything with her dog! She also enjoys skiing, hiking, biking, home improvements and finding new things to turn into art projects.
