Introducing Ake Spencer Evans, M.D., who is joining us as a new member of the team here at the Center for Spinal Disorders as a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Physiatry!

Evans attended New York Medical College, and interned at the Sound Shore Medical Center of Weschester. Following his internship, he worked as a resident at the Baystate Medical Center/Tufts University School of Medicine in the Department of Radiology, leading into a position as a research assistant in the Department of Medicine at the St. Mary Medical Center/Harbor–UCLA. Evans then completed his residency at the Loma Linda University, based at the Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center, where he worked as the Chief Resident in the department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He then completed his fellowship at the Spine and Pain Treatment Medical Center of Santa Maria in California, working in Interventional Spine and Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation where he performed various interventional spine procedures.

Beginning November 26th, he will be our newest physician, and everyone here at the Center for Spinal Disorders is elated to welcome him to our team!
