Retired mail carrier Pam Chavez’s pain began after an elderly gentleman hit her mail truck from behind, lifting it into the air. Then he backed up, dropping her and her truck to the ground. Her neck snapped. From then on, she could no longer do the activities she enjoyed – hiking, biking, gardening, and more – until she visited Dr. Paul Leo. He began treating her pain, including that resulting from another fall after 3 dogs chased her into a buckled driveway. Most recently, she tried a PRP injection given by Dr. Leo into her right shoulder. Now, she’s lifting her arm and doing the activities she loves again.
