The Center for Spine and Orthopedics welcomes Dr. Christina Ottomeyer. Dr. Christina Ottomeyer, an orthopedic surgeon, recently returned to the Denver area to begin a spine fellowship at the Center for Spine and Orthopedics under the supervision of Dr. Michael Janssen and Dr. Joseph Morreale. She will begin her year-long fellowship on July 22. Previously, she did a spine and orthopedic rotation at CSO as a medical student at Rocky Vista University College of Osteopathic Medicine.
After earning her osteopathic degree at Rocky Vista, Dr. Ottomeyer completed an orthopedic surgery residency at the Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine/Doctor’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. She specializes in general orthopedics, sports medicine, joint replacements, total hip and knee replacements and orthopedics trauma care.
Prior to medical school, Dr. Ottomeyer earned her Bachelor of Science degree at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where she played varsity ice hockey for four years, serving as team captain.
Dr. Ottomeyer hails from Boise, Idaho. In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors, skiing, playing golf, fishing, traveling and watching sports.
