Lisa Schumacher, EMR Specialist/Administrative Assistant, was recently announced as Associate-of-the-Month at the Center for Spine and Orthopedics (CSO). Nominated by three of her co-workers, these are some of the great things they had to say about Lisa:
“The main component of Lisa’s job seems to be putting out fires as they arise, and she always does so with a smile. It’s a difficult task, and she rises to each and every occasion.”
“Lisa is always ready and more than willing to help at a moments notice. She is always cordial and polite even in the middle of internet crisis. She is Miss Sunshine.”
“Lisa is pulled in multiple directions, sometimes all at once, and she manages to accommodate everyone with a smile. She has come in on her day off to assist with projects. I think she overall goes above and beyond.
Lisa enjoys her job at CSO, especially the people who she says are “like family” as well as the professional challenges she encounters. Upon accepting the award, Lisa said “Thank you so much to everyone who nominated and voted for me. It is an HONOR to have been selected as Associate of the Month!! When I started here at CSO in 2014, I was looking for a job, but I have gained a family and friends that make coming to work each day a pleasure!”

Outside of CSO, the native Coloradan enjoys spending time with her six-year old son and husband of 23 years, whether they are taking bike rides, going to the pool or attending local community festivals.
