As the winter sports season draws to an end and summer approaches, flip-flop season springs into fashion. During this time of the year, people tend to become keenly aware of their foot’s overall structure and appearance. An astonishing 23 percent of Americans between the ages of 18-65 suffer from a bunion, making it one of the more common foot problems.
The Center for Spine and Orthopedics welcomes Rocky Vista University Medical Student Jay Thompson to the practice for a second three-week rotation. Jay returned due to his keen interest in orthopedics, and we are glad to have him back with us!

The Center for Spine and Orthopedics welcomed two new medical students on March 27. They are Luke Mosel, a third-year medical student from Rocky Vista University, and Alair Newman, a medical student at Kansas City University.
